Our roots go deep. Three generations deep. We are a family farm located a mile and a half north of Brookings, South Dakota. We host weddings, pizza nights, special events, and even new annual summer and fall events. We have a rustic, restored 96 year old barn situated on 40 acres with serene gardens and green space. We invite you to join us for your wedding day, celebration, corporate event, or a lovely summer Sunday evening savoring wood-fired pizzas with your family and friends. We are all about the welcome and the memory-making.
Weddings
Good Roots Farm and Gardens, LLC is 40 acres of South Dakota heaven. Our one-of-a-kind 96 year old restored barn has an elegant vaulted ceiling and beautiful maple flooring. The rustic main floor is designed for welcoming, socializing, dining and is connected to an outdoor patio. Complete with a vintage bar, indoor-outdoor audio, and rustic decor, our space is perfect for your special day. We have three yards, flower circle, portable gazebo, vines and gardens, and nice options to enjoy your ceremony and celebrating outside. In fact, so far, couples have tied the knot at seven different locations on the farm! With plenty of parking space and picturesque photo opportunities, we would love to invite you for a tour! Wood-fired Pizza Nights
We create and bake hand-crafted rustic pizzas using our organically grown veggies with special attention to whatever delectables are in season. Our dough is made via a cold, long-ferment process. We make custom sauces and even offer dessert pizza options. Our wood-fired Sunday pizza nights happen early June to early/mid October. Access Facebook/Instagram to stay current.
Special Events
We can host anything from a corporate or university event, retreats, anniversary and birthday parties, to family reunions. Really, you name it!
